Tips 'n' Tricks | Internet Tips 'n' Tricks | PC TIPS 'N' TRICKS | Mac Tips 'n' Tricks Turning off the Active Desktop If you have Windows 95 or 98, and you have installed Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, you may have installed the Active Desktop option. If the Active Desktop is enabled and you wish to turn it off, click the Start menu, then click Settings, then click Active Desktop. If View as Web Page is checked, then the Active Desktop is enabled. Click View as Web Page to turn off the Active Desktop. |
