Where can I get virus-protection software?

There are two ways to get anti-virus software: you can either download it from the Internet (where most
companies allow you a free thirty-day trial period), or you can visit your local computer store for a
shrink-wrapped package of virus-protection so ftware.
If you want to download an anti-virus application from the Internet, take a look at VirusScan, by McAfee. You can download a trial version, or you can p urchase it
online. Another good anti-virus application available on-line is ThunderByte.

For anti-virus software to work, it is essential that you keep an updated version of it, since there are
always new viruses coming out. If you don't, your anti-virus software might not be able to detect a new
virus in your computer.
