Windows 95

1. Click , select Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the System icon.
3. Click the General tab.
4. The amount of RAM installed in your computer will be listed under computer: near the bottom of the System window.

1. Exit Windows.
2. Type "mem" at the DOS prompt.
3. The amount of RAM installed in your computer will be listed next to Total Memory in kilobytes. (32,768 kilobytes is 32 megabytes of RAM.) (See figure a)
4. Type "win" to restart Windows.

Macintosh

1. Click the Application Selector menu at the top right of your screen, then select Finder.
2. Click the Apple menu ( ) at the top left of your screen, then select About This Macintosh.
3. The amount of Built-in Memory (RAM) will be displayed.
