Print this page (or have a friend print it) to have it at hand when you follow these instructions, since you'll have to be disconnected from the Internet to do so.

1. Click the Apple menu icon, click Control Panels, then click PPP (or Remote Access if you have Mac OS 8.5 or an iMac).
2. Type the area code before the dialup number in the Number box.
3. Close the PPP or Remote Access window and click Save to save your changes.
