Starting on January 8th 2001, customers who use their dial-up access in the Greater Toronto Area will need to dial 10 digits in order to access the service - that is, they will need to add the area code to their dialing software.

After January 8th you will not be able to connect to the services if you have not made this change. However, you can make this change earlier than January 8th without affecting the service.
